Meet Emmett the Eagle!

Emmett the Eagle is one of Utah’s most storied and beloved mascots, proudly representing Utah State University Eastern with a tradition that runs over 80 years deep. From the days of Carbon College to the present, the eagle has been the heart and soul of Eastern Utah’s school spirit — and Emmett carries that legacy with pride, energy, and an infectious enthusiasm that wins over every crowd he meets.

As the official face of USU Eastern’s spirit squad and athletics program, Emmett knows what it means to show up big for his community. Whether he is rallying students at a pep rally, cheering on athletes at a sporting event, or bringing school pride to life at a community gathering, Emmett delivers an experience that is authentic, exciting, and deeply rooted in the Eastern Utah community he calls home.

Beyond the campus, Emmett is available to bring that same championship spirit to your event. With decades of tradition behind him and a personality that fills any room, Emmett the Eagle is a piece of Utah history you can actually book.
